Google Analytics, only with your permission
I use Google Analytics 4 to understand site visits, which pages attract interest and how visitors interact with the content. The Analytics tag loads only after you accept analytics. If you decline or have not made a choice, the site keeps that tag blocked.
Measurement may include visited pages, the general source of a visit, browser and device information, timing and interactions such as scrolling, outbound clicks and video playback when available. Google processes connection information and may derive an approximate location. I do not request names, email addresses or user IDs for Analytics.
This site’s configuration removes URL parameters and fragments when reporting a visited page and reduces the referrer to its origin. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in the tag. No advertising accounts have been connected.
Cookies and preference storage
If you accept, Analytics may create cookies such as _ga and _ga_… to distinguish browsers and sessions. This site’s tag sets a lifetime of up to 60 days, without automatically renewing the expiry date on each visit.
Your decision to accept or decline is stored locally in your browser for 180 days. It contains neither your name nor your email address. If you clear browser data, use a different browser or the preference expires, you will be able to choose again.
Your selected theme and language are also stored locally in your browser to remember your display preferences. These settings stay until you change them or clear your browser data; they do not enable Analytics.
Change or withdraw permission
You can use the preferences button on this page or the permanent footer link. If you decline after previously accepting, future measurement is disabled, the site attempts to remove accessible Analytics cookies and the page reloads to remove the loaded library. This does not by itself delete data Google has already received.
Services and data processing
Analytics information is processed through Google services and may be processed in different countries. Read how Google uses data from sites that use its services and Google’s privacy policy.
Hostinger hosting may process technical logs to serve and protect this website. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives the connection data needed to deliver them. These font requests are independent of the Analytics tag.
